blit from Orem is running a Kickstarter Campaign for an app that takes screen shots of web pages and sends them to your email. You can use the product to monitor a web site, an account balance or what ever.

My bet is that this campaign won't be successful as you can usually do this stuff with other products on the market. With Unix one can set a cron job that captures a web page at any given interval with just two lines of code. You can use CURL to capture pages that require passwords.

Converting a web page to an image is a bit trickier. I searched the term "HTML to PNG" and found quite a few command line tools to do that.
