Pier 49 is a growing chain of restaurants serving a gourmet pizza with a San Francisco style sourdough crust. The chewy crust adds a welcome dimension to the company's unique pizza recipe.
I find myself fond of the chicken BBQ pizza.
The restaurants serve pizza by the slice; so it is a great place to stop in for a quick snack.
