Timpanogos Cave National Monument

Alpine Loop Photos

The Timpanogos Cave National Monument and Alpine Loop are among the must see atractions of Utah Valley. The National Park web site has information on visiting the cave, the hike to the cave's entrance and visiting hours.

Timpanogas cave, like all caves, tends to stay at the average temperature of the surrounding area. The cave is about 45 degrees. It is a great place to cool off in the summer. Spelunkers will need to take a coat, even on the hottest of August days. Visitors should call to make reservations.

The trail to the cave closes during the winter.
