DLB Law

A year ago, I created a Mobile phone optimized version of the ProvoUtah.US directory. Since I did not have a wireless enabled mobile phone, I was unable to test the program to see if it works.

Well, I decided to buy a mobile phone to see if the directory worked. Sure enough, I discovered that the MOBI directory had invalid xHTML and was not working.

I've been working diligently to fix the mobi directory, then got the bill for a phone I cannot afford.

I was in a state of panic, until I discovered:

DLB Law. This is the web site for a law firm specializing in bankruptcy.

The page is optimized for mobile phones. You will see it long and skinny with fewer graphics and what not.

Anyway, I am thrilled with this site because it means that I can use the phone that I can't possibly afford to file for bankruptcy! Is that cool or what?

As for the real point of this review, as smart phones become prolific, web designers are smart to have a mobi optimized version of their site. The page really needn't have more beyond a link to one's standard web page and contact information.
