I know. It's not fair to throw in a national web site in a local directory. But, CD Baby has one of the most comprehensive collection of independent Utah musicians on the net. The CD Baby-Utah page lists CDs from Utah bands by genre.
The site does a great job in picking up where mainstream music stores leave off. You won't find the popular signed musicians, but you will find the hidden gems of the Utah music scene.
